Sales Representative at MedRoute Pharmacy

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary: We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for sales and a keen interest in the pharmaceutical industry. The Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, promoting our product portfolio, and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare institutions in the assigned territory. Understand customer needs, address inquiries, and provide product information and support. Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication and responsiveness.
  • Sales and Business Development: Actively promote and sell pharmaceutical products to meet or exceed sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide feedback to the operations manager on market conditions and customer preferences. Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for market expansion.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and stay updated on product features, benefits, and applications. Train customers on the proper use and handling of pharmaceutical products. Attend product training sessions and stay informed about industry updates.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities. Collaborate with the operations manager to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 4. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 6. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical market in Lagos and Nigeria.
  • 7. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
