We are looking for a dedicated, well experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at sujimoto. He/She will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

· Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

· Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

· Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

· Support internal and external audit processes as needed.

· Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

· Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.

· Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

· Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience

· CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).

· Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
