Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software engineering principles and experience in developing and deploying high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems. The candidate will work closely with other team members, including front-end developers, product managers, and mobile App Engineers, to develop and deliver new features.
You will
- Collaborate with the product and design teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop and deploy backend systems and APIs using modern technologies and best practices.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of the backend systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with the backend systems and work with the team to resolve them.
- Work with other developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure continuous integration and delivery of the product.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, fintech, and blockchain industry.
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in backend development, preferably in the Fintech industry.
- Extensive hands-on experience with our tech stack, including but not limited to: Typescript, Nestjs, Postgres, Redis, Typeform and Docker.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in a fintech startup or fast-paced environment.
