Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist to develop and execute results-driven campaigns across all major platforms. This role requires a creative strategist with a strong command of paid advertising, campaign performance analysis, and trend-aware content creation. You’ll be central to elevating our brand visibility, optimizing our digital presence, and engaging with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute high-impact social media marketing campaigns, aligned with brand goals and KPIs.
- Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and X/Twitter, including A/B testing, audience targeting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Analyze campaign metrics, generate performance reports, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Create, schedule, and publish compelling content (text, graphics, video) that resonates with target audiences and reflects our brand voice.
- Monitor trends, hashtags, competitor activity, and viral opportunities to ensure our brand stays relevant and relatable.
- Actively engage with followers, respond to DMs and comments, and foster a sense of community.
- Collaborate with internal teams on digital strategies that support broader marketing efforts (email marketing, product launches, events, etc.).
- Stay current on social media algorithms, advertising tools, and emerging platforms to keep campaigns optimized.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in social media marketing and paid advertising.
- Strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns (organic and paid).
- Proficient in ad management tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager).
- Solid understanding of social media analytics, engagement metrics, and conversion tracking.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with attention to tone, trends, and storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple platforms, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience using scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social).
- A passion for digital storytelling and social impact.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with influencer marketing and user-generated content (UGC) strategies.
- Knowledge of SEO and landing page optimization.
- Video editing experience (e.g., CapCut).
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: ₦120,000
- Salary Review: Subject to performance-based increase after successful completion of a 3-month probation period.
