Role Description

This is a THREE-MONTH UNPAID REMOTE INTERNSHIP role for a Video Editor who will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to video production, such as video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and graphics.

Responsibilities:

Edit video footage into cohesive and visually appealing videos for various media channels

Enhance videos with visual effects, graphics, and sound

Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to ensure videos align with the desired vision and objectives

Assist with video file management and organization

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing

Requirements:

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)

Solid understanding of video editing techniques and principles

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work is preferred

Qualifications

• Experience with video editing and production software
• Proficiency in video color grading
• A strong understanding of motion graphics and graphics creation
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Knowledge of trends in digital content and marketing
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation a plus
• Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a degree in Film, Video Production, Visual Communications, or related fields

The candidate should possess the skills listed above and have a passion for video production and editing. Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively with others in a remote environment.
