Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fintech Operations Manager at Waya Bank. The Fintech Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing teams, implementing and improving operational processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role will be located in Lekki with the flexibility for some remote work. You will be responsible in designing and implementing operational excellency and processes ranging from employees, customers and suppliers, government and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial operations management, risk management, and compliance
• Experience in Fintech operations
• Experience in Banking and Payment
• Experience in Business Analysis and designs
• IT experience is a plus
• Experience in fintech operations and knowledge of fintech products and services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• Certifications in operations management or related areas are a plus
