Digital Account Manager & Strategist at Digitas ng

Location: Lagos

Job Objective:
Leverage data and insights from multiple sources to develop strategies that meet client goals.

Key Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Lead a portfolio of accounts across industries.
•⁠ ⁠Be responsible for account strategy and planning, client service, team leadership and management, project leadership and management; to ensure day-to-day tasks and long-term business goals are met.
•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with with other teams and opcos to deliver new businesses to pitching and proposals.
•⁠ ⁠Lead digital strategy with a focus on market and consumer insights.
•⁠ ⁠Plan, lead and execute marketing campaigns strategies for key accounts.
•⁠ ⁠Analyze market data to identify trends, insights and opportunities for stakehokders and brands to make informed decisions.
•⁠ ⁠Monitor KPIs and evaluate performance against set targets.
•⁠ ⁠Recommend test-and-learn strategies to optimize outcomes.
•⁠ ⁠Stay informed on competitor activity and industry developments.

Performance Expectations:
•⁠ ⁠Demonstrate deep client and industry understanding.
•⁠ ⁠Use insights to develop impactful creative briefs and strategies.
•⁠ ⁠Meet or exceed performance targets across all accounts.
•⁠ ⁠Deliver at least two standout strategies per quarter.
•⁠ ⁠Ensure high-quality briefs and timely insights delivery to internal teams.

Data Gathering – Proficient in data collection methods, mining, and integration using various tools and platforms.

Data Analysis & Insight Generation – Strong skills in data synthesis, trend analysis, visualization, and translating patterns into actionable insights.

Data Communication & Visualization – Effective in turning data into visually intuitive formats such as charts and dashboards.

Consumer Insight Analysis – Ability to draw actionable insights from media and consumer data relevant to business objectives.

Database Management – Working knowledge of database tools and data manipulation.

Industry Intelligence – Awareness of market trends, client strategies, and competitive landscape.

Brand Strategy Development – Skilled in creating strategic models that support brand objectives and long-term planning.

Content Creation – Be capable of leveraging consumer insights to guide the content team to create content that connects and delivers brand objectives.
