One major highlight from yesterday was Adekunle and Sheggz’ fight. I believe Sheggz continued to build on their subtle beef and this has warranted Adekunle’s anger. If you didn’t see that scene, you would almost swear this was a lie. But Adekunle asked Sheggz to forget strikes and winning the grand prize, he was ready to fight man to man. This was new, however, I think Sheggz had it coming.
Also, in the BBN house yesterday, the Flutterwave task required the level 1 and 2 housemates to mix up. I honestly think if they had been mixing up from the beginning, it would’ve been harder to pick a side in the house. Perhaps, Big Brother actually wanted us to take sides. Group 5 with Bryann, Bella, Pharmsavi, and Giddyfia won the game. Again, Bryann continued to stand out in the games. Will this keep him constantly on the nomination list? We will find out.
Do you know that there’s a Dotun in the house? Trust me when I say the level 1 housemates didn’t deserve the immunity they’ve been enjoying by luck. And like Modella suggested during her diary session, Biggie better have a new strategy up his sleeves. The nomination process became a thing of concern for viewers and housemates. Imagine that I only get to talk about Diana, say, once a week. I think that is ridiculous.
Ilebaye, who was now out of the house, made an honest revelation about Bryann. In her words, “I felt Bryann was a playboy.” On the flip side, Bryann asked Biggie to let him use his pocket Naira to spend on a picnic for Modella. Is this a positive turnaround or another strategy from Bryann? He seemed quite serious about Modella. He even lied, saying: “You are the reason we won the wager task,” to keep her calm after her big mistake on the fashion runway.
Khalid on his media round yesterday spilled the tea about him and Daniella just using each other. You would be perplexed at how these people switched so fast. Barely two days after affirming a serious relationship with her, Khalid proved to have had his tongue in his cheek during his ‘lie lie’ affirmation. I hope the beautiful lady gets over him as quickly as possible for the sake of her mental health.
Diary sessions also had some spicy content yesterday. Chizzy raised speculations about Amaka hiding her strengths to evade nominations and possible eviction. What are those strengths? I think Amaka is really outspoken, however, if there was stuff left to find out, we are here for it. Groovy, who remained the most talked about housemate this week, had been actively warming bodies with Phyna. In his diary session, he suggested that he would like Chomzy in the level 2 house. I feel this is proof that he was unapologetically flirtatious. Meanwhile, Phyna wanted Hermes to be in level 2 if given the chance to pick.
Phyna’s fans did a great job on Twitter with their new hashtag, “Congratulations Phyna.” They stan her despite the many unwise emotional decisions she’s been making in the new week. I think this was a lovely movement. Nevertheless, I couldn’t wait to see more entertaining activities and fewer fights. Who knows what would become of Adekunle and Sheggz? They need to take a grip on their emotions to stay in the game.
