Role Description

TThe Investment Sales Manager drives sales of the company’s investment products, and revenue growth by identifying and developing sales opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing tailored investment solutions. This role combines sales strategies and investment management expertise to achieve business objectives while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.

3. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and market research.

4. Negotiate and close sales agreements with potential and existing clients.

5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to stakeholders.

6. Assess client financial needs and objectives to recommend suitable investment products.

7. Keep up-to-date with market trends, financial instruments, and investment opportunities.

8. Manage investment portfolios to optimize returns while minimizing risk.

9. Provide periodic performance reports and market analysis to clients.

10. Establish and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and loyalty.

11. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

12. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

13. Lead, mentor, and train sales and investment team members to achieve departmental goals.

14. Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

15. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all activities.

16. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and investment activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in sales, investment management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing investment portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and investment strategies.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, CRM software, and MS Office tools.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
