We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Officer to join our team. The Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing inventory management and control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a warehouse environment and possess strong analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining and updating inventory records
• Conducting regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies
• Monitoring inventory movements, including receiving, issuing, and stock transfers
• Recording discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
• Coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock
• Implementing inventory control measures to minimize losses and improve accuracy
• Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels
• Developing and implementing inventory policies and procedures
• Performing regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and implement process improvements
• Anticipating future inventory needs through data analysis
• Evaluating suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
• Optimizing inventory control procedures
• Inspecting levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages
• Ensuring adequate product stock for all distribution channels and customer demand
• Recording daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory

REQUIREMENTS

• HND in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a warehouse or inventory management role.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
