About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving the success of the business solutions that align with our strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency. Also You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results, leveraging your expertise and innovative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1)Business Analysis:
- Responsible for planning business analysis activities, governance approach, stakeholder engagement approach and information management approach.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities. Use data to support decision-making and recommend solutions.
2)Solution Development:
- Responsible for requirements elicitation and applications of various elicitation techniques to ensure proper gathering of requirements.
- Work with IT teams to design and propose solutions that meet business requirements. This may include software, systems, or process changes.
3) Documentation:
- Responsible for documentation of requirements including current state analysis, future state determination and recommendation of change strategies after proper analysis of design options.
- Responsible for specifying and modeling requirements using modeling techniques like use case and scenarios, documentation of user stories, creation of acceptance and evaluation criteria and development of process and sequence flow diagrams.
4) Risk and Change Management:
- Responsible for identification and analysis of project risks and proffering of risk management approach
- Responsible for post deployment activities like change management, creation of user manuals and User Guides, Documentation of FAQs for implemented processes, Solution Evaluation activities and collaboration with support team to ensure optimal solution performance post implementation.
5)Project Management:
- Responsible for tracing, maintaining and storage of requirements both for ongoing projects and for long term reuse.
- Responsible for evaluation of change requests and creation of methodology for managing change requests and requirements prioritization.
6) Stakeholder Communication:
- Responsible for managing stakeholders collaboration from project ideation through development to retirement.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and expectations.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience in these areas.
- A minimum of 5 years in Business Analyst function
- Conversant with requirement management tools like Jira, Slack etc
- Proficient in the use of process modeling tools like Microsoft Visio, Draw.io etc for process flows and sequence diagrams.
- Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
- Resourcefulness and creative problem solving skills
- Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data
- Must be a creative, strategic thinker and solutions-minded.
