The Big Brother Naija housemates finally presented their Gen Z fashion show. For those who watched with very high expectations and joy, we were not disappointed. Let’s see some of the tweets from fans.

First, the level 2 housemates undoubtedly understood the assignment and they delivered. A strong BBNaija fan said: “I can watch level 2’s fashion over and over again, they were fire.” I literally watched with so much excitement and had goosebumps during their runway show until Modella made a mistake in her speech. Because of how smooth that display was, her mistake was glaring. I heard her say something like, “hey Jesus, rather than immediate correction and trust people to pass comments, many people said she needed to leave the house immediately.

Level 1 housemates almost deliberately made a mess of their show. Like the Twitter user rightly pointed out, they came with arrogance and mostly tried to pressure the level 2 housemates. They turned down actual music to give a shit show of shouting voices and dying breathes. Though very disorganised, they must be commended for creativity. I bet Big Brother had a swell time given the way he lauded the winning team.

Meanwhile, as usual, things became a bit heated and uncomfortable after level 2 housemates won the task and the wager. Bryan’s diss freestyle appeared to have wounded the egos of level 1 as he chanted “too much shalaye no dey full basket!” Most people believed Bryann earned another nomination with his lovely and intriguing diss track but his fans were here for it.

The uncomfortable situation pushed the level 1 housemates to their gossip ground. Sulking and insulting the people in the other became their standard coping mechanism in times of defeat. As insinuated in the early days of the show, in as much as the level 1 housemates kept talking about healthy competitions, they didn’t fully understand the concept. This made them come off as toxic in every game, triggering an equivalent response from the level 2 housemates. However, the viewers thought Doyin was exceptional and Sheggz was a market woman for constantly joining in badmouthing the housemates on the other level.

Viewers should know that voting was made easy with the creation of multiple channels for the purpose. You can choose to vote through SMS, on Showmax, on www.africanmagic.tv/bigbrother, and on DSTV. The process is easy and quick. To ensure that your favourite remains in the house, keep voting so that evictions will not be a surprise to you.

You thought I was done? Phyna seemed to be helping Groovy through his grief after Christy O’s eviction. She warmed both his bed and body last night in tight cuddles. The first comment I saw on this topic from Twitter was “snake (Phyna) pass worm (Amaka)”. If this seems like a problem to you, you’re right. Why would she do that considering his former relationship? But I’d rather question Groovy’s quest for intimacy as the girl is just enjoying the cruise. If you think about it, they were in each other’s arms because they both wanted to. Hence, in my opinion, the uproar made sense but was unnecessary.

The twist and turns in the course of events in this show built the suspense and interest of viewers. The show has also become more thrilling with unending drama and individual character problems. It is only great that you are not caught slipping pants down and enjoying the show.
