Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Graphic and Web Designer. The Graphic and Web Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for both print and digital platforms. He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop design concepts, and deliver high-quality designs that align with brand guidelines. The Graphic and Web Designer will also be responsible for creating user-friendly web interfaces and optimising designs for a seamless user experience. Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations, animations, infographics to help deliver a message
. Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
. Design, illustrate and update creative content and graphics for websites and social media platforms, including static and interactive features Support the organisation of webinars, workshops, conferences and events with high profile stakeholders and limited budget (i.e. publications, information materials, event programmes, brochures, posters etc, in print and digital formats).
. Coordinate with the editorial team to improve content presentation/ layout (news, social media posts, videos)
. Update websites as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience in web design and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and ability to create intuitive designs
- Understanding of responsive design and ability to create designs that are compatible with various devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Portfolio showcasing previous graphic and web design projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
