To get out of singlehood for good, Ini Edo must first find a kind man
Without kindness, material things like money and comfort will mean no thing to Ini Edo's thirst for the right value.
It is all about finding the right type of personality, one that is kind and commands a response if 41-year-old actress Ini Edo is to finally swear off her singlehood.
Sadly, meeting a kind man has been sort of difficult considering Miss Edo’s early experiences in dating and romantic relationships. The actress shared these deep-insight perspectives while attending a podcast hosted by radio personality Toke Makinwa.
On Toke Moments, which is a relationship podcast, Miss Edo saw herself walking gradually towards the true cause of her singlehood. It stems from being unable to connect with her type of lover.

“I’m single because I just want somebody that can really love me. That’s all. I’m not asking for too much,” says the actress, who can also make a distinction between active and passive modes of giving love.
Sometimes, there are toxic vibes because of these and the actress tried to explain to the probing host who has also seen the loopholes when a romance isn’t standing on solid ground.
According to ini Edo, “You can love someone and not [be] ready to be committed. They [are] two different things. Maybe that’s why I’m still single. I can’t be in a toxic relationship if you can’t give that protective energy that allows me to respect you.”
Getting and giving love transcends beyond material things like surplus of money and comfort. Without kindness, all these will become waste to a woman needing true love.
“I can’t be with [a] man I can’t respect. If you can’t earn my respect then we can’t be together because what is the point? When it gets to the point that I start to disrespect you, that means that you have brought yourself down to that point I begin to talk back at you.
“It’s not all about money. It’s about how you manage a situation and how you manage the people around you. Simply put, it [is] all about kindness.”
