Role Overview:
As a Volunteer Video Editor, you will play a vital role in shaping our course content. Your primary responsibility will be creating high-quality, engaging videos that make our online courses dynamic and impactful. Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce professional-quality videos, including lectures, tutorials, animations, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and graphic designers to create visually appealing and coherent course content.
- Incorporate branding elements and ensure consistency across all video content.
- Integrate graphics, sound effects, voiceovers, and animations to enhance video engagement.
- Manage video projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain and organize a digital library of raw footage and completed projects.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, including color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics.
- Creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver visually compelling videos.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting.
- Familiarity with e-learning content creation is a plus.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
