
Scope of Work
The Website Administrator will be responsible for the following:
1. Website Maintenance:
• Regularly update website content, including product listings, promotional banners, and company news.
• Perform routine checks to ensure website functionality and resolve any technical issues promptly.
2. Design and User Experience:
• Ensure the website layout is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with Prime Grocers’ brand identity.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to optimize website design and improve user experience.
3. Performance Optimization:
• Monitor website performance metrics (e.g., page load speed, responsiveness).
• Optimize images, code, and plugins for improved site speed and mobile compatibility.
4. E-Commerce Support:
• Manage the online store, including product uploads, inventory updates, and pricing adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the e-commerce platform.
5. SEO and Analytics:
• Implement on-page SEO strategies to improve search engine visibility.
• Analyze website traffic and user behavior to inform strategic decisions.
6. Security and Compliance:
• Ensure the website complies with data protection and e-commerce regulations.
• Perform regular security updates and backups.
7. Integration and Tools:
• Manage third-party integrations, such as payment gateways, CRM tools, and analytics platforms.
• Research and implement new tools to enhance website functionality.
Skills and Qualifications Required
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and basic coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• E-Commerce Experience: Familiarity with managing online stores and payment gateways.
• SEO Knowledge: Experience with search engine optimization and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Graphic Design Skills: Ability to use tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva to create web visuals.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and technical support capabilities.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to content accuracy, formatting, and functionality.
• Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in website administration for retail or e-commerce businesses.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media integration.
