- Develop and implement financial responsibility plans aligned with organizational strategy
 - Ensure timely and accurate completion of the month-end accounting process
 - Coordinate and process various financial, administrative, and operational forms and reports
 - Maintain up-to-date financial records, ensuring the accuracy of transactions and changes
 - Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation
 - Prepare balance sheets, and invoices, and handle client financial interactions
 - Drive financial efficiency and cost-saving culture across all business areas
 - Proactively identify and implement financial solutions to improve service levels
 - Provide accurate financial reporting to Management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
 - Establish standards and procedures for internal and third-party payments
 - Review and recommend internal financial requests for management approval
 - Organize and maintain electronic filing of invoices
 - Track invoices from receipt to final payment, ensuring reconciliation with vendors
 - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
 - Maintain accurate records on accounts receivable and payable
 - Manage monthly deduction and remittance of statutory payments (PAYE, WHT, Pension, VAT)
 - Handle annual company tax returns and monthly bank statement reconciliation
 - Conduct vendor reconciliation and analyze industry trends for improvement opportunities
 - Perform quarterly budget analysis, comparing forecast to actual spending
 - Create and implement financial policies to enhance operational efficiency
 - Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
 - Understand cost drivers for accurate budgeting and forecasting
 - Liaise with Human Resources, Outsourcing, and Admin/Operations on relevant business activities
 - Participate in functions or career development training aligned with the accounting profession
 
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
 - 4-5 years of accounting practice and/or industry experience
 - Experience with International financial reporting standards
 - ACA/ACCA or Equivalent is required
 - Strong working knowledge of Accounting software, microsoft and google Office suites
 - High-energy, self-motivated, team player with a desire to excel in demanding and fast paced detailed oriented environment
 - Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, take ownership, and work in a flexible team environment
 - Good understanding of Tax compliance
 - Ability to influence various stakeholders without formal authority
 - Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
 - Ability to work independently and be responsible to follow up on action items
 - Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
 - Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
 - Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 - Ability to work with all levels of internal staff as well as outside clients and vendors
