This is a full-time remote role for a WordPress Developer. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing attractive and functional websites for our clients using WordPress. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, customize themes and plugins, and ensure seamless website functionality.

The font color used for the description: (Experience the freshest…) needs to be changed as that makes it difficult for users to read the text.

The CTA (discover more) leads to no where, it needs to be connected to either a page or a section on the homepage.

When the add to cart button is clicked, there should be a popup or something that makes users know it has been added. the images used on the website has to align with the target audience. The pictures on the about page has to changed so it resonates well with it target audience. The mobile version of the checkout page needs to be improved as it lacks paddings.

Products needs to be in the right category. the logo, the brand color wasn’t used on the website. There is need for the website to be in accordance with the logo colours. The social media icons should be aligned. There is no copyright on the footer. The logo wasn’t used on the header also, it is very important users see the brand logo as soon as they land on the website. Ideally, users shouldn’t be able to create an account on the website without shopping since it is not a multi vendor website. If this is left, people will just create random accounts on the website. Only serious buyers should have an account on the website and the account creation should be done while they are making payment.

Existing customers should be able to login to the website, there is no option for that. Since the target audience are Nigerians, payments gateways like paystack or flutter wave should be integrated to automate the checkout experience. There is need to include a delivery fee option . There is need to include important pages like the Privacy page, Terms and Condition, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Frequent asked question page.

The necessarily don’t want to always have users asking questions, they can easily find answers to whatever question they have on those pages.

Qualifications

Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Experience in responsive web design and mobile-friendly development

Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Salary is 70K Naira .
