Zenith Bank Named Nigeria’s Best Bank at Euromoney 2025 Awards

In a year where confidence in the banking sector has been shaky, Zenith Bank’s big win signals stability, innovation, and a nod to strong female leadership

Zenith Bank makes the news, clinching the “Best Bank in Nigeria” award at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025.

This win is a big deal, considering the current climate, where many Nigerians are watching every naira and asking tough questions about who they can trust with their money. The Euromoney Award, considered one of the most prestigious global benchmarks in the banking and finance world, recognized Zenith Bank for its “strong management, robust governance structure, innovation in digital banking, and consistent financial performance.” In simple terms? They are saying Zenith Bank is not just doing well, they are doing the work.

Zenith Bank’s track record of excellent performance has continued to earn the brand numerous awards, including being recognized as the number 1 bank in Nigeria by Tier-1 capital for the sixteenth consecutive year in the 2025 Top 100 World Banks Ranking published by The Banker. Zenith Bank was also awarded Bank of the Year (Nigeria) in The Banker’s Bank of the Year awards for 2020, 2022, and 2024; Best Bank in Nigeria from 2020 to 2022, 2024, and 2025 in the Global Finance World’s Best Bank Awards; Best Bank for Digital Solutions in Nigeria in the Euromoney Award 2023, and was listed in the World Finance Top 100 Global companies in 2023 amongst many others.
