We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for Connekt Broadband. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and make a significant impact on the company’s sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and source potential customers through various channels, including digital platforms like Mailchimp, Apollo, LinkedIn, and other industry-specific platforms.
  • Manage the entire sales funnel, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects and existing customers through regular communication and follow-ups, including in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis for enterprise customers and create tailored proposals that align with their requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technical teams, to ensure seamless service provision and customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage the use of artificial intelligence and sales software to manage the sales funnel, track leads, monitor progress, and generate accurate sales reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance updates, and recommendations to the senior management team.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Connekt Broadband Limited’s products, services, and value propositions to effectively communicate them to customers.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to sales activities and ensure adherence.
  • Continuously develop and enhance sales skills and knowledge through training, workshops, and self-study.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales or Account Manager or similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or internet service provider industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer acquisition strategies, and pipeline management.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital channels, including Mailchimp, Apollo, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms, to source and engage with prospects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Experience in creating customised proposals for enterprise customers, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
  • Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems to manage leads, track progress, and generate reports. Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools for sales optimisation is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer pain points, propose appropriate solutions, and overcome objections.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Fluency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for in-person meetings with prospects and customers.
