Since the beginning of the BBNaija Level Up 2022, altercation never ceased among the housemates. Upon her ascension as HoH, Phyna brought a reign of terror to Mr. and Mrs. Ikoyi as she had them almost shaking in their seats during her HOH address yesterday. You may already be wondering what went wrong. Let’s get right into it.

I remember being really excited that we were getting just as much drama as we signed up for on this show. Right now, these many spicy events kept viewers interested but edgy with every new fight. Guess what, the Shella couple remained on the battlefield and always on the offensive. Where other housemates fought and left, they continued to stay. There was never any issue that didn’t have them at the centre.

Phyna, who was always expressive, especially with hype slangs and Pidgin English got called razz by Bella and Sheggz yesterday. In a moment of verbal confrontation between the duo and Phyna, they said she was acting like a street girl. In response, Phyna took time to lash out at them, saying they did not have a say over her act in BBNaija house. She went further to ask that they leave the house to their homes as the BBNaija house was for street people. Hence, rather than having to deal with it, it suits them better to be in their classy environment, out of the show. Cats caught their tongue in the moment as they did not have any defense.

In the words of the former Big Brother housemate, Pete, “the emblem on the neck on the HoH should be respected.” He added many people disrespected the HoH for the sake of content or getting the attention of viewers. In real circumstances, that level of disrespect should be sanctioned. However, it was not in Phyna’s nature to stay mute in confrontational situations, no leader should take such disrespect. This justified Phyna’s reaction.

In other news, Biggie’s script became more confusing and fishy with the already evicted housemates joining the other housemates. When the level 3 house was revealed on Sunday, we all knew something was not right. Though bringing them back seemed like ease of control and access, the question is, why were evicted housemates still on the show? We understand that Biggie was always up to something intriguing, but this appears shady. Is this part of a sort of power play or underground politics? Anyways, the show goes on.

There was a heated conversation about the wins of the former level 1 housemates in the HoH games. In this argument, Hermes suggested that it was based on the individual strengths of level 1 housemates. In fact, he insisted that they were stronger individually. This pissed Daniella off and she was raging with anger trying to counter the assertion. It was true that former level 1 housemates were strong “in the games”. But generally, on the show, following the nature of evictions, the level 2 housemates are very strong.

Meanwhile, since the rejoining of the evicted housemates, Doyin’s relationship with Bryann and Allysyn became rocky. In another moment of eye service, Doyin was caught taking Bella’s side in the fight with Phyna. In Doyin’s opinion, Phyna shouldn’t have asked Bella, “who raised you?” But we all know that Bella was the most provocative person and that statement might have not been so harmful anyway. Hence, this brings us back to the issue of Doyin poke nosing in everyone’s matters.

The show has so much to offer yet. Stay tuned while voting aggressively for your favourites.
