The rogue streets of Twitter descended on BamBam, an ex-BBNaija housemate for her remarks on the Shella relationship. This happened when popular On-Air personality, Toke Makinwa hosted her on The Buzz show. BamBam was apparently honoured to be on the show until events turned sour. Toke was having a discussion with her and she inquired about her feelings towards the Bella and Sheggz relationship. In response, BamBam said Sheggz enjoyed torturing women and this led to an uproar on Twitter concerning BamBam’s imperfect marriage.
Regrettably, the well-intended question also caused a chain reaction in BamBam’s marriage as her husband was also dragged into the matter. According to fans on Twitter, BamBam’s husband, Teddy A is being abusive to her. Teddy, who was also an ex BBN housemate, was associated with several cases of alleged physical and emotional abuse against BamBam. Funnily, picture evidence also surfaced amid the hullabaloo. Though her statement was not wrong, it didn’t sit well with viewers since she remained in the marriage.
However, there were just as many issues outside the house as there were in the BBNaija house. With most housemates out of the show, we saw the evicted housemates giving account of their actions and behaviour in the house. Most especially, the audience were really interested in exploring the ugly romantic relationships formed in the house.
Back to the house, the ritual task that came with a car reward took place yesterday and just like in every other season, the Innoson brand sponsored the task with a brand new Innoson car for the winner. All the BBNaija were all out for this but after putting so much effort into navigating through this game, Chizzy emerged the winner. It was super amazing what Chizzy achieved as a rider in the house.
Meanwhile, Bella informed Rider and HoH Chizzy earlier in the day that Big Brother did not want to add Sheggz’s photo to the evicted housemates’ wall. Following the eviction of the first few housemates from the former Level 1, Biggie established this custom. When Phyna saw pictures of Pharmsavi and Christy O, two of her old housemates, she was shocked and started crying. Bella was however shocked to see Sheggz, Groovy, and Hermes, the most recent three housemates to be evicted, on Biggie’s wall. The housemates didn’t notice the photos on the wall for a few minutes after returning to the house.
On the gossip side, Phyna and Daniella had a conversation about the level 2 bond. Unlike level 1, the level 2 housemates focused on their collective strength as a team. All through, and amid their many rifts, they always understood and stood by each other. Phyna remarked that during the separation, she never put any level 2 housemate up for eviction, she focused on the level 1; that was how much their bond meant.
Biggie did everything in his power to ensure that the remaining Level Up housemates receive the royal treatment this week as there were only three days left till the season finale. Considering that this is the show’s final week, we didn’t anticipate anything less than extraordinary. Special guests on Independence Day, the grand finale, all worth looking forward to. Also, Biggie’s Pool Party turn-ups were witnessed by all of us up close, but today the housemates will also be given a BBQ, in addition to getting down to some hot beats, and a delicious feast.
Think again if you believed that Ebuka rattled his fair share of tables this season. He will dine with the housemates at a special Independence meal hosted by Biggie, and then he will conduct an interview with the Level Up finalists to learn more about their experiences so far in the house.
