It’s only normal that the Big Brother Naija housemates face criticisms from viewers almost all the time. In fact, this became their reality as TV personalities and soon to come public figures and celebrities. However, some comments didn’t cut it especially if they were destructive and demeaning to any individual in question.
Yesterday, the handler of Hermes’ account slammed a troll over a vile remark about Hermes and his mother. Prior to his entry into the BBNaija house, Hermes dropped panic messages online about his mother who was missing. In his message, we got some information about her allegedly having mental issues. Now, for reasons still unknown, this troll came out to castigate both mother and son, reiterating that they were both mad with their random pictures as evidence. Even though the post was later deleted and the page taken down, there was no explanation for this rude comment, particularly dragging Hermes’ mom. While some Twitter users dropped curses, others wished the troll healing.
On a lighter note, following Deji’s media round with MizVick, he made some weird revelations about his time in the house. He attested to peeing on the floor of the bathroom the day he got into the house. Though he casually mentioned this, it screamed poor hygiene in the most displeasing way and MizVick barely contained her facial expression. It was rudely bold of him to admit to that ugly occurrence. Also, he mentioned that Doyin saw condoms in his bag and in response to her curiosity, he said he might need it for protection. We found one culprit responsible for the missing condoms. But, did he use it? I guess we will never find out.
Meanwhile, the housemates lost their wager for the second time in a row but Hermes as HoH took responsibility for ironing out food issues. The food wars became imminent at this point. Two weeks with no supply of food will definitely get the hungry stomachs agitated. Some housemates have started hoarding food as their survival instincts pushed. Phyna and Chomzy had a verbal war over the now stale event of level 2 housemates hiding their food. Chomzy said they should keep the energy outside the house, but with this attitude, they might miss their helpers. “Who can you help here? Phyna had to ask.
Furthermore, the GrooPhy relationship entered another rocky state. Though the couple tried to work it out through extensive dialogue and seeking advice. Phyna noticed too many strange behaviour and getting tired. She also thought he might be ungrateful as she did so many things to favour him but he didn’t understand when she was pissed. Could this be the beginning of the end for their relationship?
Bella and Rachel engaged in a heated argument yesterday because of Sheggz. After Sheggz called Rachel stupid, Rachel insulted him back. And in the Romeo and Juliet fashion, Bella took up the fight that led to her pouring a full plate of precious food on Rachel. At this point, it was definitely not about the quarrel and defence for me. In this crucial time when food was a rare commodity, it was very immature to even play with it. More so, inheriting enemies is typically a bottom barrel behaviour and Bella was wrong outright. On a good day, Rachel could’ve beaten her to a pulp but Biggie’s rules must be respected.
