The Sunday live evictions took a new dimension yesterday in the BBNaija house, even though we saw it coming. Ebuka pulled our legs a little! The first fake housemate to leave the show was Modella. For obvious reasons, her exit caused an uproar among the housemates and she would definitely be missed dearly, but the show must go on.

Now we understand that putting all housemates up for eviction was just a front to make the fake housemate public. The irony was, the housemates didn’t know that there were three more fake housemates to contend with. Let’s see what happens to Deji, Chizzy and Rachel.

As usual, Ebuka shook some tables in the house with his numerous questions. Giddyfia was now competing with Groovy for the most confused housemate on the show. When he asked what his situation was, he had so much to say without making his point clear. Rachel, on the other hand, insisted that he had feelings for her. However, Giddyfia’s relationship with Amaka suffered a setback. The fourth person in this love square (Diana) quickly removed herself from the equation, she considered it disrespectful

Furthermore, trying to understand her relationship with Bryann, Ebuka asked Modella about their situationship. After Modella discussed this issue all day with Bryann, she concluded that they were just friends and catching vibes. This must have hurt Bryann a lot considering that we wanted a lot more for them. Meanwhile, Chichi still insisted that she and Deji were on the same page even though she had been forcing the relationship thing lately. Viewers thought she should accept her ‘breakfast’ in peace and stop stressing.

Also, Chichi, who was seriously working on her punishment had time to make trouble in the house. Perhaps, the punishment was working more effectively than we expected because she had been awfully quiet. Biggie had to shut Deji up while he tried to plead on her behalf, emphasising that Big Brother was serious about his house and its rules. This must be a life-changing experience for Chichi.

Amaka got a strike for microphone infringement after several warnings from Big Brother. She vehemently refused to take Biggie’s warning seriously and she deliberately ignored her microphone, saying that it was too loud. The strike was an eye-opener for her even though she remained defensive about the situation yesterday. As the queen of gossip, she was under fire from fellow housemates following their gossip about Phyna and Groovy’s ‘sexscapedes’. While everyone thought she was lying, she insisted she didn’t say much on the issue. In fact, she cried while she was being confronted about it yesterday.

The food issues finally got resolved amicably among housemates yesterday. With the collective and individual food sharing, housemates could now share food fairly. Adekunle, who tried to address the many disturbing attitudes in the house, also promised to be a terror if his stuff get tampered with again. His act was somewhat child-like and completely out of place, hopefully he wouldn’t be on the dreaded road to disqualification.

We are expecting nothing short of drama in the new week and we trust the housemates to deliver back –to-back. Stay tuned!
