BBNaija Season 7: The ship is sailing

Day 4

By Clara Gaiya

On today’s episode of juicy BBNaija season 7 gist, fans insist that the house has been specially divided. Not the obvious division into level one and level two – more of psychological division. If you followed my last story, you remember I mentioned that a few housemates are a sprinkle of ‘trenches’. You may now be aware of what kind of segregation I’m pointing at now.

To feed your curiosity, housemates in level one are considered posh and classy by the audience while those in level two are the razz class, the ‘trenches’. Guess who Nigerian viewers prefer? Apparently, ‘trenches’ level two housemates have made the show spicy, thereby satisfying the craving of die-hard BBNaija fans. People must have had a basinful of fake accents and excessive grammar.

Shockingly, ships are already sailing. I couldn’t agree less that the housemates are bored. This boredom has fueled different infatuations and who knows, they may just turn out to be great relationships. Groovy and Beauty are in the fast lane trying to prove that they are lovers and not fighters. It was love at first sight as they were the first two Housemates to land in the house. Amaka, on the other hand, is utilising nuisance as her A-game. She has taken up the task of breaking the couple’s pseudo-relationship. We cannot wait for how this unfolds.

Fine boy Eloswag is the ‘Head of House’, remarkably the first. His elegance and discretion must be commended as he takes up the task really well.  Level one housemates had their diary sessions and Diana is giving us a hard time differentiating between English and French. However, her expressiveness is beautiful to see; Biggie is about to be her best friend. Adekunle exudes subtle classic man vibes, but is a bit introverted. We hope to see him active in the game. While most housemates are completely sure of their win in the game, Chichi says she is 90 percent sure. Perhaps, she is only being realistic. Other Housemates think she is uptight and cannot take jokes.

Hermes has an ‘outstanding’ personality that he initially thought would keep him at loggerheads with other housemates. He is the guy with two girlfriends who are fully aware of the three-way relationship. Though he presents this as exclusive, it may not be much of a revelation if he still cheats. Nigerian fans can relate. He cannot wait to have fun at the parties, drink Origin Bitters and enjoy other things. In his words, ‘I wan put my head for breast, I wan put my head for nyash’. Few people can relate to how relaxing that may be.

There are a series of news flying as Housemates have begun to open up about their characters and life outside the house. Doyin is insecure about her receding hairline and must keep it in a particular style. Chichi was a stripper, it saved her life. She must have been a really good one. Everyone is shocked that Phyna wears a wrapper on the show. Is this a strategy or she’s just being comfortable? Whatever it is, it is good to see and we love it. Sheggz is particularly carrying his handsome weight about, staying focused, or maybe just waiting for the right shawty. Pharmsavi and Christy O’s ship is still by the dock, “Christy seems like someone that takes her time,” some Housemates suggest.

The proper blend of different personalities on this show cannot be overstated. But we are hungry for action. They are steadily whetting our appetites without serving us any food. A good way to keep us glued to the show. Keep streaming and following my juicy updates.
