Big Brother warned over Kess’ wife’s miscarriage, as eviction anxiety hits the nominees

Yesterday in big brother, we received shocking news from Kess’s family about his expectant wife’s loss of a two-month pregnancy. The family however sought that their privacy is respected in this trying time. It was even more hurtful that Kess had no idea about this in the house. Is he going to come home to the news or will he be informed while still in the game? I don’t think it should be kept from him for too long. Our sympathies are with the family.
On another note, it seemed Big Brother was hell-bent on producing chefs from this season. Knorr Nigeria facilitated another jollof rice task in the house. To be honest, virtually all the housemates did a rusty job of the task as their meals were lacklustre with the exception of Chichi and Chomzy whose food delectably stood out, though Team Tasty Suya Jollof emerged the winners of the task with Phyna as their leader. More tension for her as a nominated housemate.
Notably, there was a random surprise of emotional connection as Hermes appeared to have caught Rachel’s attention. We began to notice an intimate and compromising relationship between the ‘Rider’ housemate Rachel and Hermes. The latter, who indicated an interest in the young lady moved to her. Is this a possible ship? We can’t wait to find out. Meanwhile, our strongest ship in the house, Sheggz and Bella, sailed smoothly with Bella confessing to Sheggz in one of their love drama that “I’m so into you”. Even my dislike for this relationship at the outset couldn’t shake it. I need to start taking notes!
Furthermore, the level 2 housemates had pretty serious diary sessions yesterday. The nominated housemates expressed their fears about the evictions. While Khalid decided to remain focused amid the tension, Phyna said it felt good to know that she stood as a threat to the level 1 housemates. Conversely, viewers suggested that Phyna’s overconfidence might be an oversight considering the housemates she’s up against. It is left for fans to deliver on the job of voting to keep Phyna in the house.
Bryann, who already expected to be nominated, said he wasn’t surprised while Ilebaye who didn’t see it coming, said she would live in the moment and enjoy the week in the house. Honestly, she had a high chance of going home by Saturday, I think she knows that. Also, Groovy felt bad about being nominated as he expected it to come towards the close of the show. And just like Khalid, he wouldn’t let it dampen his feelings.
Still on Beauty’s disqualification, her fans took to the streets to apologise with banners and asked that Biggie take her back. Despite the empathy I feel towards her, it is a game, she got served, so that cry for help is unnecessary. Meanwhile, controversy paid off for her on the internet as she was the most talked about housemate. The question is, how much good is this controversy going to bring her as she continues to trend for the wrong reasons?
Finally, we saw Modella reporting how difficult it was to rock boats in the house. As a result, Biggie would give her another task. Do you think it was that difficult, or she just couldn’t get a hang of the task? Perhaps, this was because she is a fake housemate. Let us see what the housemates are up to today.
