Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Web/Mobile Application Developer at MVC Communications. The Developer will be responsible for mobile application development, implementing object-oriented programming, and iOS development. The role involves creating and maintaining mobile applications and collaborating with the team to ensure seamless functionality, you will help translate business requirements into user-friendly digital experiences, leveraging your skills in coding, debugging, and optimization to deliver smooth and scalable solutions.
- Develop & Maintain: Create, test, and deploy responsive web and mobile applications using modern frameworks and languages (e.g., React, React Native, Flutter, Angular, etc.).
- Optimize: Ensure applications are fast, secure, and scalable, including optimizing code for performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile and web development, recommending improvements and innovations as applicable.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, best practices, and high standards.
Qualifications
- Mobile Application Development and Web Application Development skills
- Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and iOS Development
- Ability to work remotely and collaboratively in a team setting
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with web development is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant libraries (e.g., Redux, Axios).
- Strong understanding of mobile development tools, languages, and environments (Swift, Kotlin, Java, etc., as relevant).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and a strong team player.
