We got to meet the latest evicted housemates on air once again. No doubt they all had a swell time in the BBNaija house. However, their relationships were pivotal to their play in the game. Hence, they had something to say about the continuity of their relationships outside the house even though their partners are still on the show.
The most intriguing media round was Hermes’s. Despite having two known partners in a relationship with him, he stood on the fact that Allysyn must remain in the picture for him. First, he said Allysyn must be friends with his other two girlfriends and they must all coexist in the polygamous relationship. He also said, even if his first two partners disagree, Allysyn would remain somehow. I bet we all want to know Allysyn’s take on this. Earlier, she seemed positive and somewhat indifferent about becoming a part of the clique. Currently, she might be on the verge of giving it all up after considering public opinion and the intrigues involved in multidimensional relationship.
On the other hand, Sheggz responded to a few comments on Twitter concerning his affair with Bella. While he cleverly evaded comments pointing to his abusive and toxic behaviour, he said his love for Bella kept him in her matters and even fights. He also made a huge remark, saying he wished people would focus on the loving Sheggz who woke up to Bella everyday reminding her she was beautiful. Perhaps emotionally abusive people didn’t get a benefit of doubt. That was Sheggz trying to be as manipulative as ever.
For the umpteenth time, Groovy reiterated his strong commitment to Phyna in their affair. He remained firm about his decision to be very serious with her. In a nutshell, both Groovy and Sheggz chose to patiently wait to reunite with their babes after the grand finale.
Occasionally, we were privileged to see Bella do smart and impressive stuff to the people she liked. Yesterday, she gave a long speech telling how dear Rachel was to her. It was an emotional moment. Remember that one of the gravest fights recorded in this season was between Bella and Rachel. Meanwhile, before that altercation, Rachel admired and loved Bella, she still does. They continued to wax stronger in their ‘sismance’. I must say it was beautiful to have something great to say about Bella, her time with Sheggz was disturbing.
Chichi got to pour her heart out to Daniella concerning the gossip she eavesdropped on earlier. She listened to Phyna, her supposed good friend, besmirch her alongside Bella and Rachel concerning Groovy. In her venting to Daniella, she expressed disappointment and also mentioned that Groovy was not her type. It was also interesting to know that Deji still mattered a lot to her. She didn’t seem to care about whatever Phyna had to say as she had only shown some emotions for Groovy at one night party. Daniella who had not said a word merely commended her ability to ignore the prattle.
Lastly, the voting portals are still open and voting for your favourites is as interesting as watching the show. The show reaching a climax will come with all the spicy drama that may result from tension.
