If I had a theme for yesterday, it would be “Groovy be like water, he no get enemy”. After watching the ladies from both levels flocking around Groovy and trying to get his attention, I’m very curious about what he was doing right. The drama intensified in the house and I bet the new week will be hotter.
After a night of intense cuddling and body warming with Groovy, Phyna openly blurted out her feelings to Eloswag. His reaction was perplexing as he actually walked out of the conversation. Also, in her conversation with Sheggz, we saw Chomzy saying that she had a crush on Groovy too. In her words, “Groovy is my type.” Though I can’t interpret Sheggz’s silence on this issue, I strongly believe Groovy was in his ‘hoe’ phase and would hold on to anyone that did not require him to be committed. Hence, plenty of ‘breakfast’ was inevitable in the house moving forward. We definitely anticipated Groovy’s new behaviour considering that he was blessed among the women in the house.
Diana at the Saturday night party had another “I free you” scenario with Giddyfia. In fact, I think the parties held the most intense content on this show. The party was where it all went down. Since their little reunion last week, Diana and Giddyfia had been cool. However, the latter and Amaka reignited their little romance on the dance floor while the former insisted she had been disrespected again. I can’t tell if Diana felt bad because of the entanglement between Giddyfia and Amaka or if she actually wanted Giddyfia to care for her as she does for him.
Meanwhile, earlier, Hermes approached Allysyn on this same issue of emotions and feelings. I bet you know why that situation ended awkwardly. Perhaps Allysyn didn’t find him attractive enough, and at the end of the convo, he gave her a kiss on the hand and dashed to the bathroom. This scene was giving telenovela and fairytale vibes as the Big Brother Naija house seemed to have become a romance palace.
If this were a Nollywood movie, it would be titled: ‘House of Commotion,’ as Phyna had gone rogue as Twitter users bashed her unruly dishing of kisses to almost every guy in the party. In this vein, we saw that yet another brawl ensued as Phyna and Ilebaye pushed Chichi away from Chomzy.
At this point, I can’t help but ask what is really wrong with the female housemates. They acted like animals with high libido in heat. Groovy, on the other hand, was reconciled with his truth when Ilebaye spilled that he was ‘fucking indecisive’ by allowing a replay of his situation with Beauty. In this case, it’s several other girls. Though I’m impressed that Ilebaye tried to apologise to Chichi because that fight was not her fight.
Guess what, not only Groovy was indecisive. As the Twitter user rightly pointed out, all the people involved in this situationship were confused, I bet even Big Brother was struggling to fathom this turn of events. Nevertheless, Phyna fans blew Twitter hot by standing for her despite her loose self-situation. They also planned to keep her in the house for as long as it’s possible.
