Asides from the wager task preparations, yesterday was replete with captivating moments in the house. Also, some of the evicted housemates made so many revelations about the future of their circumstance-driven relationships in the house and these were aired during their media rounds.
Overall, most evicted housemates seem to have gained some level of clarity following their exit from the show. They made well-informed decisions and not purely emotionally-induced choices. Leaving the show exposed them to variety as well as less pressure, thereby averting the immediate need for a razz commitment. For Allysyn, she seemed really firm on her resolve not to continue as Hermes’ third girlfriend. It was almost like she got some stern advice from a loved one. Earlier, on the day she was evicted, it was if she was going to give their relationship a chance outside the walls of the house.
Doyin had a little too much to say yesterday and her gist was widespread on the social media. Concerning the toxic situation between Bella and Sheggz, Doyin, with so much effrontery, opined that the viewers neglected Sheggz’s love towards Bella because of the three to four times they had issues. She also mentioned that she didn’t see it as any terrible situation in the house. This ugly speech not only portrayed Doyin as a bad friend but also irrational. This is because of all the housemates, Doyin witnessed more Shella fights and endless name calling. On top of that, Bella confided in Doyin about Sheggz’s anger issues. Suddenly turning a blind eye to that malignant affair is crazy.
On her relationship with Cyph, Doyin might be ready to go with the flow as she remarked that she liked him a lot. However, is it still the same for Cyph? He might be put off because of the fact that Doyin meddled in too many controversies in the house. Meanwhile, what would be the case with Chizzy whom she also claimed to have a thing with? Is she pursuing a double date ball game?
Furthermore, the GrooPhy relationship seemed to be going belly-up after their plain-spoken dialogue yesterday. While Phyna struggled to get a reassurance of love from Groovy, he revealed that he only liked her. Seeing that hers was a situation of unrequited love, she remained buffalo about it. Will this be the end of their already strained liaison? I must comment that Groovy’s bluntness should be appreciated as he would not be leading Phyna down a blind alley. Coping with this “breakfast” might be a hard nut to crack for Phyna but it is better sooner than later. Chomzy might be the reason for Groovy’s sudden deflected feelings towards Phyna; he seemed to really crave her (Chomzy) attention more.
Beauty finally aired her long-withheld feelings on a live video yesterday on Instagram. After being caught in the web of intoxication, fights and subsequent disqualification, she came with a “lessons learned” message for her fans. She went under the radar after she left the house. Now she is back, and like she said, she has healed. It must have been a great time in sober reflection. She also announced that she was working on surprising her fans with some interesting news. The best part is, it is good to see her back and blooming after a heartbreaking disqualification.
Finally, voting has closed and the fate of the finalists would be revealed soon. And despite some of the not so enjoyable content, we have continued to enjoy a great ride on the BBN show.
