Job Description:

As the Communications Lead for Ethnocentrique Limited, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic engagements with all stakeholders, participants, and partners. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, developing communication strategies, and fostering strong relationships to advance our mission of empowering young Nigerians in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote the Fashion MSME Skills and Cluster Development Programme.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, press releases, and marketing materials.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including participants, partners, government agencies, and media outlets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to optimize communication efforts.
  • Lead communication efforts during events, workshops, and other program activities.
  • Measure and analyze the impact of communication strategies, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, preferably in the fashion or arts industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of media landscape and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics software, and content management systems.
  • Passion for empowering young Nigerians and promoting sustainable development in the fashion industry.
