Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Specialist at Gamr Africa. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of software products and applications. They will develop and execute test plans, identify and report bugs and issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them. The Quality Assurance Specialist will also contribute to the improvement of software development processes and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality assurance or software testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
