Phyna ranks topmost among BBN fans

For the first time in the seventh season of Big Brother Naija, we could easily predict a possible winner on the show. Based on analytics, Phyna’s name lingered atop the chart for the most talked about housemate since last week. After getting saved by Chichi, she stood as the strongest contender in the game. Coupled with her growing fan base, it was obvious that she was closer to bagging the grand prize than any other housemate.
On the flip side, during a chitchat yesterday, Groovy, Hermes and Chichi raised Chomzy’s topic again. Hermes and Groovy relayed their reasons for not pursuing Chomzy to Chichi. For Groovy, he mentioned that he never thought he would have the chance to have a physical dialogue with Chomzy. At the time of the twist that took him to the former level 1 house, he finally got to speak with Chomzy but he already had an entanglement with Beauty. In order not to keep Beauty worried, he let go of his chase for Chomzy. He insisted that he would have moved to Chomzy again if he wasn’t with Phyna; this was his response to Chichi. He clearly was not content with his relationship with Phyna and Chichi noticed it in that tête-à-tête.
challenges On the other hand, Hermes confessed to wooing Chomzy for a whole week. And in her words, “I am unavailable,” she said to him. Seeing that Chomzy started to get along really well with Eloswag, he also gave up on the chase. Perhaps because of the scarcity of partners in the house, Hermes spluttered “this place na jungle” at the end of his rant.
After a long time of bottling up, Hermes and Adekunle expressed their deep-seated disgust for Shella’s uncleanliness. For the longest time, the couple were fond of leaving their dirty dishes in the sink even when they only cooked for two. I bet everyone had enough but Hermes couldn’t hold it. Like he said, he was tired of hearing that level of stupidity. “Who is your slave here?” he blurted. On their end, they were outrightly incorrigible, ignoring the collective needs in the house to focus on their selfish interests to the detriment of others. Above all, Bella and Sheggz resented corrections and took them for confrontations. Terrible couple, I must say.
The pressure of being the HoH began to tell heavily on Chichi. Due to her struggle to handle the wager task preparations in the house, she was moved to tears by Shella’s insults yesterday. Meanwhile, it was an arduous task to get all hands on deck during the practice. As a result, Chichi shut down opinions as her way of coping with the pressure of leadership. Apparently, this did not sit well with Bella who engaged in maligning Chichi. She called her an empty brain, among other derogatory words. As usual, Sheggz tried to move into the situation but Chichi put him in his place, warning him to stop being nosy about women’s issues. It must have been really overwhelming to make Chichi shed tears. Hopefully, she doesn’t crumble under the pressure too soon.
Finally, Groovy fans seem to be out for blood with some aggressive campaigns for votes. Groovy, on his part, started begging morning and night for his fans to keep voting. The fate of the housemates would be decided soon. And since the grand finale is around the corner, voting to keep your favourites in the house should be taken seriously. Stay glued to inevitably enjoy dramatic moments.
