The long-awaited wager presentation ended with Biggie’s silence about the final verdict yesterday. There was already so much tension in the pre-wager time. Perhaps, it somewhat affected their presentation and Big Brother decided to create a suspense-filled situation by staying mute on the outcome of their performance. Because Chichi put in so much effort during the presentation, she became frustrated by Biggie’s silence and resorted to crying all night. As head of house, any loss of the wager this week would dent her rating as a leader. I bet this was her reason for agonising over the issue.

Phyna and Groovy, on their part, were still engaged in many back and forth on the future of their relationship. After several deliberations, Groovy admitted that he was with Phyna for many reasons. Even though he showed some negative vibes and so much lassitude, he declared that what they have was serious. However, in a later conversation, he re-emphasised that they must take things bit by bit in order to thrive outside the house. He showed clear uncertainty about the viability of their romance outside the show. One of his reasons for being lukewarm was that people had too many opinions on their connection that they ordinarily shouldn’t have. He constantly negated his words with his actions and this is symbolic of his disinterest that Phyna refused to connect with.
Meanwhile, the Shella duo added drama in the house yesterday. Almost immediately after their breakup for the umpteenth time, Bella and Sheggz were seen sharing laughs and having a swell time. Most times, it seemed like they were caught up. Earlier, they engaged in a heated argument with Sheggz telling Bella to be more respectful. However, Bella appears to be over it for the moment. As usual, they got time to dialogue and reconcile only to continue to thrive through toxicity.
Expectedly, Chizzy was steadily getting his flowers for dispensing content judiciously in his role as a rider. He constituted a major trigger point in the middle of havoc and beautiful moments. Yesterday was a back-to-back display of his capabilities with him giving it hot to defaulting housemates. His style of stirring up drama is very professional; immediately he dropped a bombshell, he would go quiet, giving his opponents time to rant. It was not surprising why Bryann’s fans cried all over the internet in reaction as Chizzy chastised their favourite. Chizzy could not hide how irked he was by the nonchalance of Bryann towards the wager preparations, so he blew hot. Overall, it’s been job well done for Chizzy.
Even though Daniella tried so hard to steer clear of another relationship saga, she was enjoying Adekunle’s company a little too much yesterday. Adekunle, on his part, did not fail to relay his message of love at the slightest chance. He was yet to win her completely but he was sweet-talking his way to that point. And once again, Daniella seemed to be giving the green light, she still hadn’t gotten a grip on her emotions.
Finally, the intensity of dramatic events surpassed expectations on this show. In anticipation of the final week in the house, and with the uncertainty of the wager task outcome, it might be hotter in the next few days. Hence, remember to catch up with events by streaming the show. There is never a dull moment in the Level Up season.
