Job Description

Our client seeks an experienced AI Leadership/Fractional CTO to provide strategic direction and technical oversight for AI-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud-based architectures and be responsible for guiding AI product development, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning AI solutions with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Define the AI roadmap and strategy to align with business objectives.
• Work closely with the CEO, Founder, and executive teams to align AI initiatives with business goals.
• Evaluate and recommend AI/ML technologies to enhance business growth.
• Provide technical leadership for AI-driven product development.
• Oversee AI model training, deployment, and monitoring to ensure high performance.
• Ensure AI projects comply with ethical AI principles, regulations, and data privacy laws.
• Lead and mentor AI, ML, and engineering teams to enhance technical capabilities.
• Help in hiring and building an AI/ML engineering team when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions effectively.
• Translate complex AI concepts into business-friendly insights.

Eligibility Criteria

• 8-12 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• Experience in leading AI teams, defining roadmaps, and delivering AI products.
• Hands-on experience with Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI.
• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Strong coding skills in Python, R, or C++, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience in MLOps tools, model deployment, and AI-driven product development.
• Knowledge of data engineering, big data processing (Spark or Hadoop), and databases.
• Strong understanding of AI compliance, ethics, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with startups or mid-sized tech companies.
• Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
