Last night party was lit and quite eventful. We saw some of those endless couple fights and the highlight was the Groovy and Phyna’s pseudo relationship. Again, Groovy and Phyna had another fight over the former’s apparent disinterest in the relationship.
Hitherto, Phyna thought Groovy was completely committed to the relationship. Groovy pulled the wool over her eyes but now she seems to be seeing things differently. She yelled at Groovy for making her look desperate on live TV. At this point, Hermes and Eloswag opted to mediate the love gone sour issue by engaging Phyna in a dialogue. She expressed so much distaste for Groovy’s attitude and concluded that she was done with him. Hermes and Eloswag admonished her to let go of her grievances as Groovy wanted her and only her.
Here’s the twist, Phyna had a big crush on Eloswag a few weeks into the show. However, he did not reciprocate the energy. He asked Phyna to wait for one week. In that period, Phyna met Groovy and fast tracked her relationship with him. Yesterday, while he tried to calm her down, Phyna reminded Eloswag that he messed up by asking for one week. She clearly still had feelings for him but we believe Eloswag was also trying to protect his territory. Seeing that Groovy was with Phyna but still crazy about Chomzy, Eloswag took up mediator duties. If he keeps Groovy and Phyna together, he won’t risk losing Chomzy.
Meanwhile, it was a moment of joy for Bryann as his song made it to the playlist last night during the Saturday party. He was quite enamoured of the moment. Interestingly, the sisterly romance between Chichi and Phyna was also lovely to watch just before the relationship drama. Chichi, as usual, twerked up a storm, which got viewers talking. Shout out to the DJs, Ms DSF and Drummer Queen for taking on the wheels off steel. The housemates had a swell time despite the altercations.
In view of the impending eviction, some housemates suspected Eloswag, Chomzy and Doyin to be fake housemates while some others felt they had actually been evicted since they were referred to as visitors. However, Big Brother might just be preparing another surprising revelation.
The unpredictable nature of this season kept viewers going so far. Eloswag took a wild guess and stated that Phyna and Bryann will come out tops in the game. I bet that was him surrendering, unlike Chomzy who was still in denial that she was actually evicted.
Sit tight and don’t be caught slipping. Big Brother must have saved the best part of the script for the last days.
