Be the sun in a room full of candles, Biggie advises

Moments to the end of the BBNaija Level Up Season 7, Big Brother gave the final-six some words of advice, which was followed by intense emotions, leaving the housemates teary and needing tissues. He asked that they go forth and “become the sun in a room full of candles” Meanwhile, the queen of the night, Phyna grabbed the grand prize of ₦100million after unanimous votes that saw her in a fierce contest with Bryann. Just before the verdict, Biggie further advised the housemates on their personalities and also recanted their favourite lines, leaving them with butterflies in their tummies. The tension was obvious but everything that had a beginning must have an end. Imagine an encounter with the highest tide ever witnessed on a sea. Or perhaps, a downward movement on the fastest roller coaster ride. It was beyond doubt that this season stood out to be one of the best ever, serving premium content every single day. The journey of 28 housemates ended with only six and eventually just one who took it all, the grand prize.
Few hours to the finale, housemates had their last diary session. On the level of character and emotional intelligence, few housemates attested to transcending selfish behaviours to be more accommodating. For Bryann, he strongly believed that he adjusted into a system of being more considerate to people he co-habited with for the first time. Residing with housemates from different walks of life must have made him more considerate. He also insinuated that he might have had a repulsive character at the beginning, but he was now transformed. Bella drew from Bryann’s confessions as she said: “I have lived my true self here. I have lived my life here.” Adekunle, who was somewhat pessimistic, had this to say: “It’s possible to unlearn everything you know and learn new things.”
Characteristically, the housemates, like their predecessors, expressed their deepest gratitude to Biggie and their guardians. The BBN platform did nothing short of a super elevation for its participants. Both in personal life and on the enterprising level, housemates had and would enjoy the power of fame and recognition as a result of being on the show. Hence, there was so much to be grateful for. While most housemates were skeptical about their chances of winning, Phyna assumed she had a 90 percent chance while Bella thought 80 percent.
Again, it might only be thoughtful to sympathise with those who bet on Bryann to be the winner on this show. I must say that was a really bold attempt at prediction. Yes! This is a ridicule of Bryann’s fans. The Nigerian viewers caught an eye for Phyna as she did not only bring her A-game but also embodied and reflected all human emotions possible. Hardcore on the outside, soft on the inside, highly emotional, crazy and all. She remained realistic and brought life to the show. All other housemates did unfathomably well in their various capacities.
However, Daniella, Chichi, Adekunle and Bella in that order had to exit the stage for the last two standing, Phyna and Bryann. Once again, perhaps because of nervousness and tension, the evicted housemates didn’t seem ambitious enough while pitching themselves to the audience on their next lines of action after the show. Most of them barely echoed “the world is not read”.
The moment that constituted the climax of the finale show was the announcement of Phyna as the overall winner of the ₦100million worth grand prize. While it was dreamy for Phyna, it was outrageously exciting for the audience and fans. Biggest congratulations to her. Finally, yeah, you no longer have to vote to keep your favourites in the game. Our time streaming BBNaija was blissful.
