We are seeking a Product Design Associate to join our growing design team. This role requires strong visual and interaction design skills, a user-centred mindset, and hands-on experience working with platforms like WordPress/Shopify, as a content and product platform.

Key Responsibilities

Support the end-to-end product design process — including research, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and final interface design

Design and optimise WordPress/Shopify-based websites, focusing on usability, responsiveness, and user engagement

Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define problems and co-create effective solutions

Create design assets such as wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

Conduct user research, analyse findings, and apply insights to improve product usability and performance

Ensure consistency with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices

Maintain and contribute to design systems and reusable components for product consistency and efficiency.

Requirements

3–4 years of experience in a product design, user interface design, or user experience design role

Strong portfolio showcasing product design work across web and digital platforms

Practical experience designing for WordPress or Shopify, including layout design, customisation, or theme integration

Proficiency in Figma

Understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and responsive design

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus

Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Ability to incorporate feedback and iterate designs quickly based on team or user input

Nice to Have

Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or other behaviour analytics platforms

Experience contributing to or managing a design system

Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles

Interest in learning about product strategy and how design decisions impact business goals
