BBNaija’s Level Up housemates’ attitude to hygiene pitiable

The attitude of the BBNaija housemates’ attitude to hygiene is, indeed, pitiable. Right from the onset, the house was characterised by laziness and lack of hygiene from the housemates. Why?
Again, arguments erupted like wildfire, the accumulating dishes in Biggie’s kitchen tore the house apart. Daniella complained to the HoH, Chizzy about the mess in the kitchen and indeed, in the house, which sparked emotions and arguments. Bella, Adekunle, Bryann and Daniella grumbled about how no one was picking up the mounting dishes in the kitchen sink. Bella entered the kitchen, rinsed her dish, and then made her way to the living room to sit while the complaints were being made.
The argument reached Adekunle and Chizzy. Adekunle made an effort to emphasise the idea that dishes should be handled privately. He didn’t understand Chizzy’s justification that he cleaned the group’s glasses and never complained. In contrast to the living room that the collective used, Adekunle believed that people should wash their own personal items. Also, Bella chimed in during this argument to add her two cents. She did comprehend why Adekunle claimed that washing dishes is personal given that he didn’t always do so. She continued, saying that he occasionally left his dish on the table, which was equivalent to leaving it in the sink. Adekunle made repeated attempts to express his sense of ownership over his meals and his ability to carry himself with confidence in that regard. He soon stopped trying to explain himself to Bella and said that she was “not especially clever”, but she was having none of it.

The conflict between Rachel and Bryann then swiftly intensified. Rachel’s claim that he was the owner of the soiled cup on the table infuriated him. He said he rinsed the cup he used right away. Bryann stood up and told Rachel to stop using his name and stop talking about his emotional energy instead of addressing him directly. “You folks are annoying me,” he said, and Bella referred to that as foolish chatter.
Interestingly, we needed to sit tight and grab our popcorn as soon as we learned that Ebuka would be joining the Level Up housemates for supper. Before the housemates could jump for joy at the table shaking master’s surprise entrance, Biggie told them to freeze. The ecstatic Level Up housemates were ordered to unfreeze, sending them into a frenzy as they screamed and jumped, after holding their happiness to themselves for a few minutes while Ebuka helped himself to a drink. Bryann was moved to give Daniella a hug after she couldn’t resist it. Phyna shouted, “Ebuka, who would have thought that I would be seeing you like this?” as though she were awestruck. It was quite nice to observe the scene.
Ebuka prompted the conversation by asking, “So, who are you buddies with now?” as tempers began to flare around the table. The question exposed a number of outstanding problems among the Housemates. Bella claimed that the acquaintances she had at the start of the season are still her friends. She continued by saying that she was not shocked that she and Rachel were getting along well after their argument. He also provided some news to the housemates in order to defuse the situation. The housemates found it difficult to comprehend that he had revealed that last night was indeed an eviction night. Even after he revealed that Rachel would be the next housemate to be evicted, Chichi sarcastically remarked, “It’s a joke.”
Little did they realise that that was only the beginning as the atmosphere altered when Rachel’s doors were opened as she exited the house. Ebuka said that he still needed to read out a name. Ebuka declared, “Chizzy as the next housemate to be evicted from the BBNaija house.” Chizzy, are you a fake housemate? Asked Phyna, causing the other residents to become uneasy. Ebuka did a great job with this delivery.
