Phyna’s number of fans might be on a decline as a result of her attitude towards Chichi since the eviction night. The perception about strength and attitude in the game began to transform. In the heat of the finale, certain bad behavioural tendencies might deter her from winning the grand prize as earlier predicted. After all, Nigerian viewers were picky in these kinds of scenarios considering the huge amount of money at the end of the race.
Now, Phyna got really uncomfortable with Chichi’s comments after Groovy got evicted. Apparently, Phyna confronted Chichi, saying she had been promiscuous towards Groovy. Her current attitude towards Chichi resulted from accumulated anger because of how she had been around him. While Phyna confronted Chichi on these issues, the latter defended herself saying she did not understand where those accusations emanated from. In fact, Chichi played ignorant to the complaints and this reflected Phyna’s deep insecurity and lack of gratitude. Chichi had always been loyal to Phyna even though she (Chichi) had her excesses. Fans were infuriated by Phyna’s attitude and her chances of winning started diminishing by the minute.
Daniella, Adekunle, Bryan and Bella now shared a new bond in the house. Yesterday, they spent some time doing an extensive critique of Chichi’s reign as head of house. For so many reasons, Chichi’s leadership was flawed. She was in so much hurry to exert power over other housemates without basic knowledge on how to get the attention of her followers simply. Hence, she was found imposing and taking rash decisions that did not sit well with others.
They complained about her not giving them time to fully wake up before trying to give briefs, hence the hesitation and many altercations during that period. Some of the tasks she didn’t have sufficient knowledge on how to run could have been outsourced but she shouldered all, only to complain subsequently about being under pressure. Chichi, who eavesdropped on gossip about her, remarked under her breath, “You have to talk about me to stay united.” Will she confront them? Phyna, Rachel and Bella bonding over the beef is the pettiest thing in this matter.
Most importantly, Big Brother’s rider Chizzy emerged the last HoH in season 7. This was a little bit of a twist since he should not be in the position as a rider. However, it was a new dispensation and based on how he supported Chichi during her reign, he possessed outstanding leadership qualities in tandem with some anger issues. Chizzy picked Rachel, his fellow rider, to be with him in the HoH room. She was excited about his win and got really emotional.
On a lighter note, Biggie honoured the finalists with an exotic dinner as reward for coming thus far. It was an exciting and amazing time. So much food and a well ornamented ambience. Despite the loss of their wager, Biggie provided them with excess food. Now, they can focus on reasons other than food to lock horns.
Summarily, there was a widespread campaign for Bryann to win the grand prize. This began massively on Twitter seeing that he played a clean game till the end. And since Phyna was sabotaging her chances by being overly dramatic, it’s only normal for viewers to opt for a more worthy winner. Nevertheless, voting is on-going and it is in the hands of viewers to determine the fate of the winner. Stay tuned!
