Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead FareNow into its next phase of growth and success. The CEO will be responsible for the overall management, strategy, and execution of the company’s operations. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in the marketplace or technology sectors who can drive business growth, enhance our market position, and foster a positive company culture.

• Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and overall strategy.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
• Lead the development and execution of long-term business plans.

• Leadership and Management:

• Provide inspirational leadership and direction to the executive team and the entire organization.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
• Ensure effective internal communication and collaboration across all departments.

• Operations and Performance:

• Oversee the company’s operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and ensure they are met or exceeded.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

• Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
• Oversee fundraising efforts and manage investor relations.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.

• Market and Product Development:

• Drive the development and enhancement of the FareNow app to meet market needs and user expectations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep FareNow competitive.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to our users and service providers.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, customers, and employees.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in the media.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CEO or in other senior managerial positions in the marketplace or technology sectors.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and executing business strategies.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, fundraising, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
