Job Duties
• Responsible for managing the reputation of clients within the media.
• Stay up-to-date with digital media developments
• Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies to achieve business objectives and goals.
• Maintain a log of media coverage, monitor and track clients’ mention in press; offline and online.
• Develop media amplification strategy for client’s projects/ campaign.
• Implement clients’ media amplification strategy.
• Build relationships with key media stakeholders (Local, Continental and International).
• Identify, and successfully implement opportunities for proactive media work with existing and new media outlets.
• Write and edit press releases, news stories, features, case studies and interviews to support organisational communications, website, e-bulletins, social media and media work.
• Growth of the company’s media network business
• Seek and develop opportunities for growing relationships with existing media houses and representatives.
• Responsibility for helping to source, develop, present and win new media value for clients.
• Professional Relations
• Budget and Team Management
• Perform other Ad hoc work as assigned.
Requirements
• B.Sc in Mass communication or any media related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in digital and traditional media
• Experience in a PR and Media Agency
• Experience in managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
