
Job Description
1. Overseeing approved stock of drugs/ medicines/ and other emergency drugs.
2. Managing & co-ordination of purchases & inventory control of drugs.
3. Monitoring quality of medicine
4. Negotiations with distributors regarding the availability of drugs at optimum cost.
5. Pharmacy fund & expenses with prior approval of MD
6. Preparation of MIS reports
7. Preparation of shift schedule & delegation of work
8. Preparing periodic reports and returns on the utilisation of pharmacy services.
9. Preparing pharmacy policies in consonance with the established policies of the hospital.
10. Prescriptions audit
11. Report to Medical Director about daily operations and any discrepancies from Department
12. Review of protocol, labelling, storage etc. and medicinal products product licenses etc. as required to meet their legal responsibilities
13. Specifications of all drugs, chemicals, antibiotics, biological and pharmaceutical preparations.
14. Supervise and control the drugs returns to pharmacy & maintain a record for the same.
Qualification:
- B Pharm
- 35-40 years old
- Male or Female
- Must have worked at a renowned hospital
At least 2-3 years as HOD Pharmacist working experience
