Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress Developer located in Lagos. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites, updating existing WordPress websites, troubleshooting website issues, and ensuring website security and speed. In addition, the WordPress Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and provide customized solutions, as well as participate in the development of new website features and plugins.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in WordPress development
- Experience with WordPress plugins and themes, as well as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with website optimization, website security, and website speed optimization
- Experience with website hosting, website migration, and website integration with third-party platforms
- Knowledge of website analytics and website SEO best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
